Bill Roberts

With over three decades of experience, Bill Roberts is known as South Carolina’s leading expert in litigation services and technology. Under his leadership, A. William Roberts, Jr. & Associates has become South Carolina’s premier court reporting firm with a corporate commitment to fast, accurate and friendly service in every case.

He is a past-president of the South Carolina Court Reporters Association as well as a past-president of South Carolina Circuit & Family Court Reporters Association. He has served on the Board of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting as well as the National Court Reporters Association Technology Committee.

Bill is a Registered Merit Reporter, Certified Realtime Reporter, and Certified Legal Video Specialist. His court reporting experience spans over 30 years including being the first reporter in South Carolina to offer Realtime technology. Today, AWR & Associates remains South Carolina’s leader in court reporting and trial presentation technologies.

Bill lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Karen and their two sons Michael and Andrew. His son, David is a partner in the firm. Bill's outside activities include leadership in a local men’s ministry and Kairos Prision Ministry as well as the Walk to Emmaus. He is an avid car collector and motorcycle enthusiast.

David C. Roberts

David Roberts has been immersed in the court reporting culture his entire life. He leads AWR’s sister company, AWR Trial Solutions. He is also a Certified Realtime Reporter and Certified Legal Videography Specialist.

David holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Court Reporting from Northwood University where he graduated Cum Laude. He was selected by Northwood University as a Who’s Who recipient his senior year. David is a member of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting and the National Court Reporters Association.

He lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Rachel, their two-year-old daughter Madison and dogs Rusty and Roscoe. When not in the office, he can be found on the golf course or mastering the art of cooking on his grill.
